Senior Mobile & Browser Extension Engineer

Began as a contract engagement alongside iDomus; my sole focus since leaving iDomus in Dec 2022.

• Delivered across LUKSO's Universal Profiles ecosystem - smart-contract-based on-chain identities - on native iOS, native Android, React Native, and the browser extension, as part of a frontend team of one to five engineers.
• Built the iOS Web3 wallet and social app for Universal Profiles in Swift and SwiftUI - on-chain identity management, a transaction signing engine and biometric key protection backed by the Keychain.
• Published SwiftUICoordinator (2021), an open-source Swift package implementing the Coordinator navigation pattern for SwiftUI on iOS 14+.
• Rebuilt the iOS wallet as a cross-platform Expo + React Native app on the New Architecture - on-chain profile management, transaction signing, in-app WebView browser for easy interaction with dApps, WalletConnect dApp connectivity, a fiat on-ramp, and biometric-secured key storage on iOS and Android.
• Built the native Android app in Kotlin - social feed, marketplace with checkout, and a live AR try-on - integrating a prebuilt Unity-as-a-Library engine into a Jetpack/Hilt codebase.
• Extracted shared business logic into internal npm packages used by both the React Native app and the browser extension, removing duplicated logic.
• Maintained and extended the browser extension: designed its backup and restore system, built a backend service for decoding custom smart-contract ABIs, and shipped performance improvements.
• Engaged continuously since December 2020 - first through Altoros (Dec 2020 – May 2023), where LUKSO was the sole client for the entire engagement, then directly from June 2023.

Held alongside Red River Apps until May 2019, and alongside the LUKSO contract from Dec 2020.

• Owned the mobile architecture for four IoT and smart-home apps controlling 40 to 60 types of IoT devices through a shared device-abstraction layer, across development, testing, and release.
• Implemented complex IFTTT systems with extensively customizable triggers and actions, including a calendar allowing users to set repeating events and see the future schedule.
• Maintained release pipelines for iOS and Android, including automated builds, signing, and deployment to the App Store and Google Play.
• Shipped backend updates to the smart-home controller and helped drive product and roadmap decisions.

Held alongside iDomus from Aug 2017 until I left Red River Apps in May 2019.

• Built native Android and, later, iOS apps - including MAIBank, the retail banking app for Moldova's largest bank (500,000+ installs).
• Led a team of three developers in the final year, owning project planning, task distribution, and technology selection.
